This interesting parody on the weather appeared in the 'CT Magazine' supplement of the Canberra Times newspaper on 6 August, 2004. It was written by one of the Canberra Times best know journalists, Ian Warden. The crux of the article is that it's frustrating that Canberra is so close to the snow, so cold in winter and yet we receive only the odd fall in the city itself! (I've been thinking the same thing for years!). Ian mentions the Gungahlin Weather Centre, and my love for the cold, in the article.
