Nights will be mild, and average at 14°C, while days should average at around 27°C. There are some encouraging signs that rainfall may improve towards the end of January, as the current El Nino weather event continues to show signs of weakening. While it is too early to predict an immediate end to the drought, things are looking positive for a much wetter 2003.
